Meet Dana

Hi, I’m Dana, the owner and lead designer of The Floral Theory.

I’m a mom of three amazing kids, a nature lover, and someone who has always been drawn to creating beautiful things. When I’m not designing weddings, I love traveling, spending time outdoors, gardening, and snowboarding. I grew up playing competitive soccer, which instilled in me with a strong work ethic, the value of teamwork, and a healthy competitive spirit that I still carry into my business today.

I graduated from Northern Arizona University with a double major in Advertising and Public Relations, but it didn’t take long to realize my heart belonged in a more creative field. Floral design unexpectedly found me, and I quickly discovered it combined everything I love including creativity, nature, organization, and the privilege of being part of life’s most meaningful celebrations.

Since founding The Floral Theory in 2015, I’ve had the honor of designing hundreds of weddings and events across Arizona. My goal is to create florals that feel intentional, timeless, and uniquely personal while making the planning process enjoyable and stress free. Every wedding has its own story, and I love bringing each couple’s vision to life in a way that feels authentic to them.

Meet Natalie

Hi, I'm Natalie, a floral designer for the Floral Theory! I am a mom to two rambunctious boys, I love reading, playing sports (especially pickleball!), being outdoors, baking, and I enjoy learning new hobbies that involve creativity. Some of my favorite hobbies I've developed are water coloring and embroidery. I have a serious sweet tooth, especially when it comes to peanut butter and chocolate!

I graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Business Management, specializing in OB/HR, and it was here that I landed a job at the college flower shop where I was trained as an events florist. Because of the years spent there, flowers remained an important piece of who I am and have been a large part of my life for over 10 years. I am passionate about creating pieces of art with beautiful blooms to highlight life's special moments! I am happiest when I am among flowers and can't wait to share that with you!

The Floral Theory was established in 2014. We are located in the East Valley and recently moved to 1829 S. Horne Street, Suite 2, Mesa, AZ 85204. We are super excited to have new larger, creative place to work. We are willing to travel wherever your wedding destination shall be.

Our Mission is to create high quality custom florals for all occasions. Each design is personally crafted for our clients standards and taste. We strive to make your experience working with our team, one to remember and pride ourselves on being informative, commutative and fun! We are willing to work with couples on a budget (our al la carte packages) and with the couples who want it all (full service packages). Please feel free to inquire through our contact page.
